17 jawans killed in Uri terror attacks in jammu kashmir

The rear office of the Indian Army’s infantry battalion in Baramulla district’s Uri, was attacked by militants on Sunday morning. Speaking to Indian Express, a senior police officer said that 16 army personnel have been injured in the attack, out of which at least two are in a critical condition. 

An Army spokesperson confirmed that four four militants have been killed. Security has been beefed up in the vicinity and roads connecting the LoC and the town have been sealed. Reports suggest that two-three militants might be present in the town.
