No alliance in UP election, said Mulayam Singh Yadav

There was a rumours of Mahagathbandhan is being form before UP election by Samajwadi Party, because of Congress UP Poll strategist Prasant Kishor's frequently meeting with Mulayam Singh Yadav in Lucknow and Delhi. Shivapal Yadav have also invited JDU leader and IRLD leader on the occassion of Samajwadi Party silver jublee celebration.

Putting an end on this rumours Party Supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav today said that there will be no any alliance in UP, only merger can possible. UP CM Akhilesh Yadav also don't want to form any coalition, he said the party will go it alone in UP election, forming a coalition is too difficult and the coalition picture is not clear yet. Also said if in any pre poll tie, we want 300 seats.

It seems to have that Mulayam Singh Yadav and his younger brother Shivpal Yadav together had discussed about the coalition with Janata Parivar Parties leaders like JDS leader and former prime minister HD Deve Gowda, Ajit Singh but they didn't came on any conclusion about seat sharing.
As per reports congress want 100-125 seats, but Samajwadi party wanted to give seats that held by congress party.

As far as JD(U) is concerned, it has little traction in the state, but is making concerted efforts under its president and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar to carve a niche for itself.
