Highlights of PM Modi rally in Dehradun, Uttarakhand

The Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a public rally today in Dehradun, Uttarakhand where the assembly elections will be held soon. PM Modi also inaugurated the Chardham highway project which will improve connectivity between the four pilgrimage centres - Kedarnath, Badrinath, Gangotri and Yamunotri.

Here are the highlights:

-The PM Modi said that Uttarakhand won't have to wait for Development now

-The Uttarakhand is the land of the gods and deities, this is the land of the brave.

- All of you have overwhelmed me to joined this rally, specially the women are in large number in this rally.

- The Char Dham project is a tributet to those who had lost their lives during Uttarakhand flood tragedy.

- All the government who ruled the country earlier have failed to provide basic facilities to 125 crore people.

- The politicians from other parties should know by now that the people of the country know everything.

- The PM Modi said that whenever the people will come for Kedarnath, Badrinath yatra, they will remember our government.

- Uttarakhand biggest assets is the tourism. Every family of the country would want to visit Uttarakhand, if the facilities are provided.

- The Char Dham project will provide employment opportunities to the people of Uttarakhand.

- The nearly 18,000 villages have not seen electricity even after 70 years of independence.
- We decided to electrify villages within 1000 days after the initiative taken by my government.

- The nearly 12,000 villages have already been electrified.

- In all these years after independence not a single electricity pole had reached in these villages. The people will see what has happened now.

- My government is dedicated to poor of the country.

- The Army jawans were demanding OROP for the last 40 years but the political parties that ruled the country never thought for the demand of Army jawans. The government salute the country Army jawans. The my government have already been disbursed Rs.6,600 crore for OROP. The real budget for the OROP is over Rs.10,000 crore. Why did the previous government betray the Army jawans by allocating Rs.500 crore for the My government were clear from first day that the OROP must be implemented.

- The people of the country have made me a watchman and now some people are not comfortable that I am doing my job.

- The black money has destroyed the country, therefore we decided to fight against black money hoarders.

- I know that the people of the country have faced a lot of inconvenience after the demonetisation but despite of that the people supported the fight against corruption.

- My government had said that the corrupt people will be punished and this is happening now, the people of the country have helped me in this 'Safai Abhiyaan'.

- The fake notes, terrorism, human trafficking, drug mafia have dealt with after the announcement of demonetisation on 8th of November, 2016.
